兩廳院聖誕音樂會─楊呈偉的聖誕百老匯

推薦好節目，不同於古典音樂的百老匯風情。

活躍於美國百老匯與亞洲樂壇的楊呈偉，與知名音樂創作人大衛‧歐，及好萊塢、百老匯雙棲女星卡荻修芙曼攜手合作，帶來百老匯經與電影名曲，與樂迷歡度白色聖誕。

楊呈偉1993年以《西貢小姐》裡Thuy一角登上美國百老匯舞台，隨後分別接受美國當代作曲家John Adams與編導Peter Sellar邀請演出現代歌劇Ceiling/ Sky、柯爾朴特的《阿拉丁》、外百老匯作品Falsettoland與《鋪軌》，獲得好評。

而卡荻修芙曼(Cady Huffman)因演出百老匯音樂劇《金牌製作人》(The Producers)而獲得「東尼獎」(Tony, Drama Desk)和「外劇評人獎」(Outer Critics Circle Awards)兩大殊榮。

他們將帶來知名音樂劇「悲慘世界」、「歌劇魅影」、「艾薇塔」、「金牌製作人」，及電影「媽媽咪啊」、「紅磨坊」、「新娘百分百」等選曲；想看東、西方百老匯巨星同台演出的丰采，您絕對不容錯過這場演出！

American Broadway and Asian stage singer/actor Welly Yang is working with well-known composer/music director David O and Broadway/Hollywood star Cady Huffman to present some of the best known movie hits and musical classics in celebration of Christmas. In 1993, Welly Yang was cast the leading role of Thuy in Miss Saigon , his debut in Broadway. Since then he has starred in contemporary opera Ceiling/ Sky , Cole Porter’s musical Aladdin and the Off-Broadway show Falsettoland to widely good reviews. Cady Huffman has won the Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for her performance in The Producers . A stage with superstars from the East and the West, this is a show of great musical numbers-an absolute must-see!
